Speaking of shows, we're excited to announce we'll be playing a month-long residency at Cafe Nola. The dates of the residency are 2/19, 2/25, 3/3, and 3/12. Two of the nights will be devoted to themed/non-HL tunes, and we will be joined by our friends Blue Heaven & Middle Kid for the other two. We hope to see you there!

Welcome to the new heavylightsmusic.com. We're excited to announce that we have begun recording music for a new EP. We want to keep you in the loop as we go, so keep an eye out for new things to click, oogle, and listen to!
On Saturday, 1/30, we'll be returning to Philadelphia at Kung Fu Necktie. We'll be joining our friends Kodiak Park, alongside Scantron and Ton-Taun, and hope to see your warm, bundled faces. More dates coming soon.
FREDERICK FALL FEST, HALLOWEEN, NEW SONG
Thank you all for the incredible night at Frederick Fall Fest with J. Roddy Walston & The Business and our buds, Old Indian and Seaknuckle. A huge thanks to Flying Dog and Frederick Playlist for making it one for the memory books!
This past weekend's Halloween show couldn't have been more fun for us- everyone definitely showed up! It also finally gave us the chance to fulfill a plan that was a long time coming.
Thank you to everyone in between Raleigh and Austin who made this past run down to SXSW such a memorable time. Also, congrats to our friends in Old Indian and their new album, Mumble! We have a few new upcoming shows listed from NYC to DC, as well as a summer tour to be announced shortly. Can't wait to see you all again.
RECORDING, FREDERICK SHOWCASE, AND SXSW
As 2015 rolls in, we have found ourselves in the studio. New music and a music video are on their way, we'll keep you posted on release dates soon. In the meantime, a live video of "Wurli" from our show at Flying Dog is now up on the VIDEOS page.
We're excited to announce we'll be playing The Frederick Music Showcase at The Weinberg on 2/19/15! Our friends in Old Indian will be releasing their record that evening.
We will also be making our way to SXSW this March, hitting a few cities along the way. All shows and ticket information are listed in the SHOWS page.
A huge thanks to Flying Dog Brewery and Real Estate for a really fun show this past saturday, it was great to see so many familiar and new faces. Well, our tour is officially over! We met some incredible people on the road and we would like to let you all know how truly appreciative we are for all of your support. So, what's next? We have a lot of things coming up in the near future, including opening for Real Estate at Flying Dog Brewery on September 27th.
